Not only have I not had a shot in like, forever... but I've also not had a single alcoholic beverage of any kind in over a month - and guess what... I've had pretty much the most amazing month of my life (so far) and I remember every single detail!! aaaahahahahahaha.
That made me feel like some sort of recovering alcoholic....
What I discovered/rediscovered on this drinking break:
- Drunk people are hilarious
- Weekends seem to last longer when you're sober
- Not drinking keeps money in your pockets and weight off your belly
With Kickball and SR starting back up this week (for me, since I've just got back), I honestly don't think it'll be hard to stay sober. I LOVE hanging out, kicking balls, and flipping cups - but I hate getting sloppy, eating junk late at night and feeling like crap the next day. I know how to make one can of sugar free Redbull last at least 8 rounds of flip cup - so I think I'll be just fine!

Congrats on the no shots for one month! And the month off of drinking! Remembering stuff is always great and I have noticed that when I don't drink for a while, or at least infrequently and in real moderation, it is easier to lose weight. I'll join you on the no shots--that's probably just a good idea in general. Good luck with stretching your redbull!
